On a positive the waitress was lovely and from Sardinia. The manager apologised and refunded us the price of the starter which was £9.50. My son ordered a oat milk latte only to be told they only had almond or soya milk to which he accepted and had the almond milk option. We had the desserts comprising of the dark chocolate moose with vanilla ice cream and my aunties came with a happy birthday message on it which I was pleased with due to putting it on the comments section when I booked the table. My son had a the Cumbrian fillet steak ordered rare it came more medium than rare however was a good size and tasty. I then told the waitress who took it away and apologised. I ordered the sea trout with horseradish crème fraiche.
We brought our own cake although did mention it on the booking reservation that it was a celebration. Booked mid week for my aunties 78th birthday today.
