HDFC Bank offers an additional 0.25 per cent interest to resident senior citizens. Currently HDFC Bank is offering fixed deposits with tenors starting from seven days to 14 days to as long as 5 years 1 day to 10 years, HDFC Bank noted. HDFC Bank offers minimum 2.5 per cent interest on fixed deposit with a tenor of 7-14 days. The country's largest private sector lender - HDFC Bank - offers interest up to 6.25 per cent on fixed deposit accounts less than Rs 2 crore, according to information on its website.
